I have put countless hours of trial, error, and research into making blades that perform exceptionally well under hard use; however, just like every knife ever made, they are not indestructible. They can bend, break, or chip under extreme use-the type of use that is generally outside the modern-day job description for any knife. Every blade in the world will dull. I do not cover sharpening under the warranty. Please see the Knife Care page for information on sharpening your blade.
That being said, I stand by the blades I make, and I warranty them for life against manufacturing defects and failures during reasonable use. If you encounter a failure in your Ronfeldt Knife, do not hesitate to contact me at admin@ronfeldtknives.com. I will do my best to make it right.
Please understand these are entirely handmade knives. There can be very small imperfections in some of my blades. I see every imperfection in every blade I make as I strive for perfection-and you may never notice it. I do not repeat the same mistakes over. I will not sell a blade where performance and safety are compromised. Still, if you're not satisfied, please contact me.
The Exception:
If you destroy your blade doing something completely unexpected and awesome, and you can prove it with pictures, video, or anything of the sort, please get a hold of me and I will take care of you. I want to see where the knives I make are going and what people are doing with them. If it fails doing something wild, I want to know, and I'll get you a new blade. Deliberate destruction of the blade in creative ways does not count.
